For Dylan, those years were spent serving on staff at a large church. What started as a role on the finance team grew into leading it—helping steward resources so the church could reach more people with the gospel. Julianna’s calling took her into classrooms, both public and private schools, where she invested deeply in students primarily with special needs and their families. And in the middle of it all, God blessed us with Esther and Silas. They’ve only ever known one home—growing up in the same house their whole lives, surrounded by the love of family and church.

Yet what God implanted in our hearts years prior to moving to North Carolina, He has continued to stir and confirm through His Word, prayer, and the life of the church. Like Paul and Barnabas in Acts 13, our calling to witness to the world began with worship among God’s people. God continued to nurture a desire to take the gospel to those who have never heard.

That calling has led us to South Asia, where we will join in the work God is already doing among people with little or no access to the gospel.

We know this isn’t a journey we take alone.
In 1 Corinthians 3:6–9, Paul reminds us that ministry is a team effort: some plant, others water, but God gives the growth. We see ourselves—and those who pray, encourage, and send—as coworkers in this mission. Our part is obedience; God’s part is the fruit. Together, we trust Him to bring the harvest.
